NP Chief Secretary assumes duties

The newly appointed Chief Secretary of the Northern Province A.Pathinathan assumed duites at his office in Thiunelwely yesterday. He was serving as Divisional Secreatry in the Moneragala district.

He succeeds Ramesh Wijeletchumy who had been holding the post. Earlier, Tamil National Alliance has been continuously demanding the transfer of his predecessor Ramesh Wijeyaletchumy.
