NP Governor convenes meeting of High officials to discuss future activities against Corona

A meeting is to be convened today by Northern Governor, P.M.Charles to discuss about the impacts made by Corona in the North,and the activities that should be untaken in the coming weeks.

The Government Agents the five Northern Districts, Heath sector officials and high level officers of the Tri-forces and police had been invited to this high level meeting to be held at the Governor’s Secretariat.

Important matters regarding continuing curfew, sending persons from other districts to their own districts and the difficulties in making essential services reaching the people are to be discussed in this meeting.

Opinions of Health Sector officials regarding whether the Corona is under control in the North, the chances of further infections and the activities that should be undertaken regarding the control of Corona will be taken up for discussion in this meeting.
