Officials attempting to show that learning activities are occurring through on-line, accuses Ananthy

The Educational Officials who are not capable of developing the educational status of Northern Province are attempting to show that learning activities are occurring on-line, accused former Provincial Minister Ananthy Saseetharan.

Elaborating further she said that forms are being filled to show that the Northern teachers are pursuing learning activities on-line. As the Educations officials are natives of this soil they know very well that 60% of the students here are from ordinary,  middle class and poor families. Most of these families are suffering due to post Corona loss of employment. How could they provide smart phones to their children for on-line studies and how safe is to burrow smart phones from others which may contain all the junk detrimental to the child’s welfare, she asked.

She also queried whether the officials are trying show that the North is also developed like the foreign countries.
