‘Ola Leaf’ Exhibition and discussion with a theme of ‘In Search of Legacies’ in Jaffna
The Noolagam Organization’s documentation and exhibition of ‘Ola leaves’ will be held at the worship Hall in the top floor of Jaffna Hindu college on 22/02.2020 and 23/02/2020 from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00p.m.
The Noolagam Organization held a Press Conference day before yesterday at the Press Club of Jaffna, for discoursing the objectives of the above Ola leaves exhibition and Discussion with a theme of In search of Legacies.
Elaborating further, Representatives of Noolagam Organization further said that the our books with historical value should be protected. It’s very essential that we should undertake activities to protect them.In this way we have undertaken a task on this basis. Not only us but others also should undertake this task.
We request all factions to provide with support and cooperation to make our endeavour a success, they said.
Documentation is important in the context that, our Histories and identities destroyed, hidden or distorted. We have prime duty of carrying these documents for our young generation and for creating an awareness among them. Particularly the younger generation should take part in this attempt as well as others.
