One arrested in Mannar with Ganja package worth Rs. 4.2 Million

One person has been arrested along with a Ganja package worth 4.2 Million, in Mannar.

The of Mannar District  Anti- Fraud squad  and the Navy had laid a siege on the Mannar – Thalai Mannar Road at Olaiththoduwai in the early hours of yesterday, Thursday.

During the siege, they have arrested person carrying Ganja package weighing 42 Kilos. The street value of the Ganja is Rs.4.2 million, it is reported.

A 37 years old person from Puthukudiyiruppu, Mannar was arrested during this operation.

Further inquiries are being undertaken by the Mannar District  Anti- Fraud squad .
