People demonstrate in Silavathurai demanding to expel Navy from their land

A demonstration was held at Silavathurai yesterday at around 1.30 p.m. demanding to expel Navy occupying their lands and give their land to them.

Soon after the Jummah worship hundreds of people from 2 mosques, winded towards the Navy Camp carrying slogans bearing placards.

After demonstrating in front of the Navy Camp they went the spot where a struggle is going on for the 24^th day and demonstrated there.

Particularly they demonstrated for the expelling of the Navy from their lands and giving their lands to them.
