Person who came through Elephant Pass check point gone missing. Search is on for him

A person who had come through the Elephant pass check point on Thursday has gone missing. The Army and other officers are on the trail of this person.

This person had come to Jaffna through Elephant pass check point on Thursday. The Army men at the check point had recorded the details of this person as Rasamanickam – No.81, Karaveddy North – 527452530V, and allowed the person to travel to Jaffna.

However, on a follow up check, it was found that this person is not resident in the given address. Following this the Karaveddy Divisional Secretariat had called information on this person. The Karaveddy DS has requested anybody who knows this person to contact the DS office through TP: 0212 2263258
