Planning to Murder Mahintha, Gota and Sarath Fonseka case postponed

The case filed by the Attorney General Department, accusing 2 persons of planning to murder Former President Mahindha Rajapakse, Defence Secretary, Gotabhaya Rajapakse and Army Commander Sararath Fonseka was postponed, yesterday. Kanagaratnam Athythyan alias Kiritharan and  Kanthavanam kokulnath alias Inpan were charged in this case.

The Attorney at law Nayomi Wickremasekara, who appeared on behalf of AG Department submitted to court that it should consider whether the testimony against the 1staccused is appropriate for the 2nd accuse also and that the suspects should be punished under the PTA. The case was postponed to May 4th.
