President has directed to continue Avant Garde probe: Rajitha

President Mithripala Sirisena has given a directive to proceed with the investigations into the Avant Garde Floating Armoury. He insists on a thorough investigation into the issue.

Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Rajitha Senaratne stated this at a media briefing yesterday.

Earlier JVP Leader raised this issue in the House of Parliament and demanded a statement by the Prime Minister.
