President’s statement “ there are no Missing persons”, a blatant lie, says Relatives of Missing

The relatives of the people made to disappear who are on their 1111 days of Rotational Fasting protest said yesterday that the recent statement of President Gotabhaya Rajapakse that , “ There are no missing in the country and only 9 were handed over “ is a blatant lie.

They commented on this in a press conference held at the venue of their struggle yesterday.

Elaborating further they said, What the President said was a blatant lie. We are fighting , placing truths. They are telling lies.TNA is safeguarding the Government . The Government is wishing that TNA should win the elections so that they could implement Ekiya rajya  and unitary state system.

It should be found out whether handed over people were sold to other countries as domestic helps and slaves. For that we need America and EU. If they get involved the 70 years old thirst of the Tamils will be quenched.

The president says that Tamils need only development. If he is elected again, he will say that is also not necessary, they said.
