Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe arrived in Japan on Saturday accompanied by his wife Maithri on a five day official visit.
They were received at the Kansai International Airport in Osaka. Sri Lankan Ambassador to Japan Prof. Dhammika Dissanayake was among those present to receive them.
Prime Minister Wickremasinghe is to address the inaugural session of the International Conference of Japanese Science and Technology Conference.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe will address the Japanese Parliament on Monday. The Prime Minister will hold discussions with Sri Lanka Business Cooperation Committee and Japanese Trade Organizations. He is also expected to hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Emperor Akihito.
