Priyanka of Thadchana Maruthamadu MV establish Record of Records in Provincial Schools Meet

P.Priyanga of  Thadchanamadu GTMS of Madhu Educational Zone, established three new records in three days which is also a new record, in the Provincial level Schools Track and field meetwhich is in progress at the Thuraiappa Stadium in Jaffna.

She had established new records in 400M Hurdles, 800M run and 1500M event.

It was earlier very rare for an athlete from Maddhu Zone winning even a gold medal. Among the tribulations of her personal life, practicing without proper track shoe, stop watch and using school chairs for hurdles on a ground filled with thorny shrub called “Thoddach chinunki” , she had broken all the hoodoos to achieve this rare feat.
