Relatives of missing persons on their struggle for 217 days and now in pouring rain

The relatives of missing persons who are on their 217 days of struggle demanding to find out their relatives are continuing their struggle in pouring rain but they bowed that they will continue their struggle until a suitable solution is delivered  regarding their relatives.

The struggle commenced by the relatives of of missing persons in front of the Mulaitheevu District Secretariat on 8th of March this year had passed 217 days. They have undertaken a continuous struggle calling for due action  on behalf of their relatives who surrendered during the end of the war, handed over to the Army, arrested and those who were abducted and made to disappear during the war period.

It is notable that even in the context of no solution being forthcoming, they are continuing their struggle even in pouring rain.
