The struggle of the Relatives of the people made to disappear which was commenced on 8th March 2017, will reach its 759th day today.
The coordinator of the Mulaitheevu District Association for the Relatives of the Missing people have announced that an attention drawing protest will be held in Vadduvagal tomorrow. This was announced in a Press Conference they held Day before yesterday.
The relatives are engaged in a struggle demanding to know what happened to their relatives and insisting that the International Community should provide them with proper solution.
Even in the recent UNHRC sessions justice had not been delivered them and despite several memorandums from Tamil factions, extension had been granted to Sri Lanka, the said. The TNA had nodded in favour of that.
The attention drawing protest is to be held at Vadduvagal to show that granting of time to Sri Lanka is wrong and because we handed over relatives to the Army at Vadduvagal. A procession will start from Mulaitheevu town and proceed towards Vadduvagal where the attention drawing protest will be held.
The Coordinator of the Association for Relatives of the people made disappear, M. Eeswary invited all people and well wishers to participate in the Rally.
