Return to your motherland: Mangala tells to Lankan refugees

Mangala Samaraweera, Sri Lanka’s External Affairs Minister, has stated that he and his government would appeal to Lankan refugees with open arms to return to the island.

Speaking to the Indian media, he said:

‘Please come back! We don’t want Sri Lankans to be refugees anywhere in the world!. We now have a truly Sri Lankan government in place, voted to power by all communities. We welcome all of you with open arms.”
