Sainthamaruthu Demo against Hakeem

A demonstration was staged in Sainthamaruthu expressing protest against Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Leader Minister Rauff Hakeem for his selection of the Chief Minster. The protest was organized by the supporters of Provincial Councilor Jameel, who also sought to be appointed to the post. The protestors were attempting to burn an effigy of Rauff Hakeem.
