Sampanthar wishes to nominate Wigneswaran as the next CM candidate

News has leaked the in the context of Provincial Council Elections to be held at the end of the year, that, the Leader of the TNA wishes to re-nominate Justice C.V.Wigneswaran as the CM candidate. However it is also reported that,  some VIPs of TNA are not in favour of this.

It was further reported that the Boycott of voting by the TNA MPs in the election for Deputy Speaker was sort of a ‘warning’ against such re-nomination.

Although the TNA MPs said that they boycotted the voting because they did not want to vote an SLFP candidate, the real purpose was to warn Sampanthan against nominating Wigneswaran again in the next Provincial Council Election.
