Shashi Weerawanse the wife of National Freedom Fornt Leader former Minister Wimal Weeerawanse was remanded till March 25 by Kaduwela Court. She was arrested by the CID while being in a private hospital alleging she was ill. Magistrate visited her at the hospital and made order after hearing. Court also ordered Judicial Medical Officer to submit a report after examination about her illness. She is suspected to have obtained two passports allegedly sumitting forged documents.
