If the Sinhalese will be angered by saying our history, let us go separate, Says Sivajilingam

If the Sinhalese will be angered by saying our history, let us go separate, Says Sivajilingam

If we telling our history, expressing our desires will anger the Sinhalese Leaders, leave us alone. You look after your affairs and we will look after our affairs, said former NPC Member, M.K.Sivajilingam.

He said this after paying homage at the statue of Pandaravannian  located at Clock tower Road, Jaffna, on the 217th annual commemoration of Pandavannian.

Justice C.V.Wigneswaran had said in his maiden parliamentary speech that Tamil is the most ancient language in the world. This has angered Buddhist Sinhalese racists. The Speaker taking into consideration the demand to delete Wigneswaran’s speech from Hansard is an act against democracy.

If the decision of the Speaker is going to be against us, we will complain to International parliament and the International community.

Even if this speech is deleted, it will not make any impact on the ancientness of Tamil Language, he said.
