SL Army constructing Vihare on private land in Thaiyiddy- Construction intensive, after regime change

The Sri Lankan Army has  occupied a private land in Thaiyiddy of Vali North and is engaged in construction of a Buddhist Vihare  that land.

In the wake of the regime change the construction work has been intensified.

Vali North Pradeshiya Sabha Member, S.Sajeevan has put out an urgent call for Social conscious Attorneys at law and politicians to take legal action against this construction.

The Army has occupied a private land in Thayiddy in extent of 2 acres and is engaged in constructing a vihare on this land.

Although written complaints have been made with the Vali North Pradeshiya Sabha, no action has been taken so far.

After the recent regime change the Army has intensified the construction work. The area people have requested the legal action should be taken to stop the construction.
