If solution proposals are abandoned, the TNA will quit Constitution Drafting

If the Sri Lankan Government abandon the solution proposals for the National Problem, the TNA will quit the Constitution Drafting activities, said TNA  MP, T.Sitharththan.

We have received a mandate from Tamil people for the establishment of a Federal Rule with North East Merger. In this we are negotiating with the Colombo Government as how could a best solution be reached. We will not accept 13th Amendment as a comprehensive power devolution mechanism.

If the Government abandon the solution proposals the TNA will not participate in the Constitution Drafting Process. A situation will be created that the TNA has to quit the Constitution drafting Process, he said.
