STF fires sand smugglers in Pointpedro: 2 injured

Two people were injured in a shooting incident this morning by the Special Task Force on illegal sand smugglers in Vadamarachchi East Mulli area.

The two injured in the shooting have been admitted to the Point Pedro Base Hospital.

One of the injured was admitted to the intensive care unit with gunshot wounds to the leg.
