Sudden transfer to several Secretaries of the Northern Provincial Ministries

Sudden transfers have been given to several Secretaries to Provincial Ministries, by the Northern Governor yesterday.

It is learnt that under this transfers, the Secretary of the Governor’s Office, S.Sathiyaseelan has been released to a Colombo Ministry. In his place, the current Secretary to the Provincial Ministry of Local Government, Mrs. Saraswathy has been appointed.

The vacancy that will occur by this transfer is filled by the current Secretary to the Provincial Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Varatheeswaran.

Current Secretary to the Provincial Council Secretariat, Roobini Varathalingam has been appointed as the Secretary to Ministry of Women’s Affairs and Acting Secretary to Council Secretariat.
