Swiss Representative in important discussion, regarding Porazhis

An important meeting between the Chief Secretary for Sri Lanka of Switzerland, Kischela scelep  and the Democratic Porazhis Party was held yesterday in Jaffna.

The discussion centered on the security, social and economical activities and role of the Porazhis in the political arena of motherland in the post war period.

Attention was paid on the land transgression in a new form, the negligence shown in the accountability on missing persons and the non conformation to the promises given to International community regarding the release of the TPPs.

The gratitude of the Tamil people regarding the support shown by the Swiss government to the Tamil refugees was expressed by the Porazhis. They  also requested that asylum seekers should be sent back.

Until such time permanent solutions are reached Tamil refugees should not be sent back, they further requested.
