Tamil MPs call on UN Human Rights Council to take note of Mullivaikkal monument destruction
Tamil parliamentarians have sent a letter to the High Commissioner for UN Human Rights Council condemning the destruction of the Mullivaikkal memorial monument in Mullaithivu.
The letter has requested the High Commissioner to record this incident in line with a resolution passed by the Human Rights Council last March.
