Tamil Nadu fishermen arrested

16 Tamil Nadu fishermen were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy and handed over to the officials of the department of fisheries in Point Pedro.

Their trawlers were also taken into custody. The allegation against them is that they were fishing in Lankan seas.
