Tamilnaadu fishermen issue: DMK workers observe fast

Workers of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam on Saturday observed a token n Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu protesting against the lackadaisical approach of the State and Union governments towards the frequent arrest of fishermen by Sri Lankan Navy and securing the release of boats seized.

A.K.S. Vijayan, district secretary, presided over the agitation near the head post office.

A large number of workers took part in it.
