The Struggle of Kepapulavu passes 180 days mark, but no light at the end of the tunnel

The Struggle of Kepapulavu passes 180 days mark, but no light at the end of the tunnel

The struggle that has been undertaken by the people of Kepapulavu demanding the release of their hereditary lands occupied now by the Army has 180 days now.

They have engaged in their struggle, as from last March demanding the release of 482 acre lands belonging 38 families. We were cheated that the lands will be released today … will be released tomorrow …But we have condemned to the roads.

There are several types of people including old men, Children, sick persons engaged in the struggle. We think that the Government will gill give a solution even after some people dye in the struggle. Don’t test our patience. We will lay our lives for our soil. We will not give up  the struggle until we set foot in our own lands, they said.
