Thellipalai Mahajana in the Final of “ Samaposha Cup” under 14 Football Championship

Thellipalai Mahajana under 14 Girls have clinched a place in the Final of the National Level Samaposha Cup Foot ball Tournament conducted by  Sri Lanka Schools Foot ball Federation.

Pitted against the Kowsigamuwa Vidyalaya, Kurunegala in the Semi Finals, they barged into the finals with a 3:1 win in the semi finals.

The Semi Finals was held at the Alfred Pieris Grounds in Vennapuw2a of the Badulla Districvt.

The Northern girl led at the lemons by 2:0 and won the match with 3:1 win.

It is notable that the Mahajana Girls triumphed over Badulla Central College in the Quarter Finals with a massive 8:0 win.
