Thellippalai Union in the final of National Schools under 19 girls Throw Ball

The Thellipalai Union College Team will fight today in the under 19 Girls’ Throw ball event against Kumaradasa Wella Vidyalayam.

The series is being conducte at the Achchiliagoda Central College Grounds. In the Semi-finals, Union College had beaten Kuruviddaya MV in straight sets.

It is notable the Union College had beaten reigning champions for four years, Colombo Srimavo Bandaranayaka team.

PT Competition, Boys  – St. Antony’s, Kayts won the bronze.

Some lost chances  in medals.

Carrom under 15 – J/Hindu Ladies  – Lost the chance for Bronze.

Vollyball  under 15 – Kopay MV- Lost in QF

Volleyball under 19 – Victoria College – lost Pre QF

Volley ball under 15 – Urumpirai HTV -– lost Pre QF
