There is no joint opposition; it is a misnomer :Amunugama

Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama has dismissed the claims of a group as Joint Opposition as nothing but rubbish. There is no such joint opposition. It is a misnomer.

He was addressing a media meeting at SLFP Head Quarters. He went on that they do not acknowledge it. The Speaker does not recognize it. He recognizes those elected under the a party symbol.  So, there cannot be such a front.
