Army Commander of Sri Lanka, Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva has refuted allegations that there is threat to national security in the country. He has assured that there would be no threat to national security.
He was speaking to journalists after meeting with high ranking Buddhist clergy in Kandy.
He added that President Sirisena had instructed maximum attention has been paid to the national security. There is no room for terrorism to raise its head once again in the country.
