TNA firm on public voting, let the people see who is with whom

If a demand is made for secret voting for the election of Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the LG Bodies the TNA will vehemently oppose it. Nothing should happen without the knowledge of the people, said, the spokesman of that party, M.A. Sumanthiran. He also said that this matter was discussed in the TNA MP’s meeting in Colombo and the decision reached.

Earlier, the Leader of the TNPF, Gajendrakumar had announced that the TNPF call for secret voting in the election of Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of LG Bodies. There should be transparency in with whom, the alliances are made. We will consent to secret voting. Others also should not call for secret voting. Conducting politics with bargaining, buying and selling is a disgraceful matter, said  Sumanthiran.

However people already know about the cloak & dagger dealings of TNA during the LG Elections. People say Sumanthiran’s statement is much more disgraceful at this juncture.
