Tamil National Alliance Leader R.Samapanthan has stated that there was no decision taken by his party seeking the resignation of Northern Province Chief Minister C.V.Wigneswaran.
Speaking to the media, he stated that if anyone had said so, it is not true.
He further explained that there was an issue over Wigneswaran’s conduct during the election on the basis that he did not take part in TNA campaign. TNA has not held any discussion about it with Wigneswaran. TNA will meet and discuss the issue. But, certainly there was no move to call for his resignation.
