Token Fast in Killinochchi for release of TPPs

A token fast was undertaken yesterday opposite the Killinochi Kadaswamy Temple demanding the release of Tamil political prisoners.

The conveners stated that if the political prisoners are not released as promised they would stage an indefinite fast.
