With expectation comes responsibility they say and for director Ponram who delivered his debut film ‘Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam’ as a blockbuster, the pressure of meeting the expectations is high for his second outing ‘Rajini Murugan’. Sivakarthikeyan has become a bigger hero with a two more super hits in these two years and his fan base has definitely expanded.
The trailer of ‘Rajini Murugan’ promises that the director Ponram keeps his strong base comedy intact. The Sivakarthikeyan-Soori combination is sparkling as ever and there are quite a few funny one liners in the trailer itself which really tickle the funny bones. Like it was Sathyaraj in VVS, this time the director has another senior actor Rajkiran who comes up in a respectable ‘oorperiyavar’ role and his relationship with Sivakarthikeyan in the film is not revealed in the trailer.
Keethy Suresh looks ravishing and her chemistry with Sivakarthikeyan would be something to look out for. Going by the trailer it looks like that the hero will go after his rather uninterested girl and will have a tough time in wooing interest, which will have scope for interesting romance sequences.
