Treat political prisoners with compassion : Anandasangary

Tamil United Liberation Front Leader V.Anandasangary has requested President Maithripala Sirisena to treat the political prisoners with compassion.

He made this request in a letter addressed to President Sirisena. He explained that it is a humanitarian issue for they are held without trial for a long time. Their families have also suffered immensely. They need an urgent solution under good governance.
