UN still acting in favour to Sri Lankan Government, accuses CM, Wigneswaran

Submitting a report of  UN Resident Representative Una McCauley sent for the purpose of opinions on building up the peace, the CM said, that the UN is still acting in favour of Sri Lankan Government. He also said that there is nothing about War Crimes and Violation of Human rights.

He was speaking in the yesterday’s sitting of NPC, and submitting the report of the Resident Representatives.

Elaborating further he said, the UN is still taking a stance favour of the Government of Sri Lanka. In the report sent to me by Una McCauley,  there is nothing about War Crimes or Human Rights Violation.

They have not changed from their earlier stance he said before tabling the report for perusal of the members.
