Underground palace discovered in Trincomalee says the Ministry of Education

The ministry of Education has announced that an underground palace had been discovered in Trincomalee. The ministry had announced that the said palace had been discovered during an Archaeological excavation carried out at  the de redout  battle front area.

This underground structure had been found during a project undertaken on advice from Minister of Education, Akilaviraj Kariyawasagam. It had been found out that concrete had been used to construct a special part of this structure. A door had been provided to enter the structure though sand. This door had been framed in granite stone and an Artillery stand was also found with this structure.

The construction had been carried by the English using, Concrete , stones and sand.

It had been  confirmed that comparatively modern weapons had been installed here and Construction had been finished in cement, the Ministry had further announced.
