Unflinching courage – student after losing a leg achieve O/L honours

 S.Priyanka, a student of the Mallavi central College had lost her right leg in the war. But that had not prevented her from continuing her studies. Her mother had lost her left arm also in the war. Her encouragement had given Priyanka unflinching courage to score 6A- B- C in the GCE(OL) 2018.

It notable that due the poverty of her family Priyanka had stayed in the hostel at the school and studied from there and this hostel was built with funds donated by Dr.Jeyaratnam domiciled in UK.
