University of Jaffna to get its 10th Faculty soon.
The Universities Grants Commissions has consented at a policy level, for the establishment of a Technological Faculty at the University of Jaffna, which will be its 10thFaculty.
In the context of Engineering Faculty and Agricultural Faculty being in the process of establishment in Kilinochchi, the Technological Faculty also is to be established there. It was announced that various departments will be established stage by stage following these faculties and the admission to these faculties will be made from forthcoming educational year.
The coming of this faculty i considered as an advancement for the educational and Physical Science Faculty. It is also notable that the Northern Students had performed well in the newly introduced Technological stream.
