University students begin a hunger strike in Jaffna demanding that Sri Lanka be referred to the ICC

A rotating hunger strike has begun in Nallur, Jaffna demanding that Sri Lanka be referred to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Northern and Eastern University students have started this hunger strike near Nallur temple.

Along with university students, Hindu and Christian religious leaders are also taking part in the struggle.

Meanwhile, Ambika Selvakumar, a woman began a Fast unto Death in London on Saturday, demanding to refer Sri Lanka to  the ICC.
