UN’s grace period will encourage Genocide: Ravikaran points out to American Officials

The grace period granted by the UN will only serve to encourage Genocide, the Northern provincial Council Member T.Raviharan. He had intimated this to the American political section officers of the American Embassy Wednesday.

The Northern Provincial Council, elected by Tamil Votes, had passed a resolution, declaring that, genocide has been perpetrated for 60 years against Tamil race, with evidence.

This should be ratified as the Official unanimous voice of the Tamils and referring or identifying what happened here as only Human Rights violation or war crime, should be avoided. The present Government does not have a just approach for releasing the lands of Tamil people. Is had been made clear that only the human component has changed. In this context withholding the UN investigation report and granting time to the Sri Lankan Government  will only help to encourage the Genocide to continue, Ravikaran had explained to the American Officials, when he met them.
