Vavuniya North PS and Vavuniya South PS goes to TNA

The TNA captured Vavuniya North – Nedunkerny and Vavuniya South Pradeshiya Sabais yesterday.

In the Vavuniya North – Nedunkerny, candidates of TNA and TULF scored 11 votes each and TNA’s S.Thanikasalam won in the raffle  and elected as chairman. N.Yogarajah was elected as the Vice- Chairman. In the election of Chairman TNPF -3 and JVP -1 kept neutral and in the Vice –Chairman election TNPF voted with the TNA.

Vavuniya South also was captured by TNA with its candidate T. Nadarajasingam securing 14 votes and being elected the Chairman.
