Why is Sampanthan keeping silent about TPPs: Association for the Release of TPPs

The Association for the release of TPPs had queried in a letter to TNA and Opposition Leader Sampanthan as to why he is keeping silent on the Release of TPPs.  They have stated that the Department of Attorney General is operating with racism.

It is further stated in this letter,” You are aware  that the fasts unto death of the TPPs were given up on the hope that you will take proper action;

The promise of Rehabilitation given on 17.10.2015 was not fulfilled at all. As the people have undergone un-imaginable disasters during the war, the problem of TPPs is a humanitarian problem. An end should be found for, Long term prison lives, loss of youth period etc.  filing cases , forming various groups and things like setting up special courts are delaying tactics.

The wish of all Tamil people is that the TPPs should be released. Then only, truth, reconciliation racial unity  will be realized, they had said in the letter.
