Wigneswaran must opt to be TNA leader or quit

The contemporary opinions expressed by the CM resembles all what we were saying for the past five years, said Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam , the Leader of the Tamil National People’s Front (TNPF).

But the reality is that the stance of party he belongs is in conflict with his own views. Either he should take over the Leadership of his party or install a person whose views are in par with his own standings or he should come out of his party and join forces with forces with views of his likings, said Gajendrakumar in a press meeting held at the Jaffna Press Club, yesterday.

Particularly, his views regarding Accountability for the past pogroms , International investigation of war crimes ,  Investigation for not only for war destruction but also for the destruction from 1948 and the ”one country  – two nations” concept are what we are saying for past 5 years.

We welcome few of the CM’s views and the ‘ Genocide Resolution’ of the NPC., he further said.

He also questioned the sincerity with which these views are expressed by him. He wondered whether Wigneswaran was expressing these views with parliamentary election in mind to gain popularity.
