Without absolute, majority parties clamoring for joint rule in the North

In LG Election  that had been held recently in a Hybrid method , most of the Pradeshiya Sabai have been left without  absolute majority to any party. No party has secured an absolute majority. Hence all parties are vigorously attempting to form coalition governments.

The LG elections were held on the 10th. The official results of the election is being released by the Election Commission from mid night yesterday.

In this context the Tamil Congress which got into the arena, against the TNA for the first time, has secured the Point Pedro TC and Chavakachcheri TC  and has given considerable challenge in this election to TNA in other PSs.

As no party has got absolute majority to form the Government alone all parties are attempting to form coalition Government.
