The Uprising ‘P2P’ Rally enters Jaffna

The anti-repression rally “ from Pottuvil to Polikandy (P2P)” began in Kilinochchi at 8.20 am today. Representatives of all Tamil national political parties were present at the protest, which was attended by large numbers of people.

Mavai Senathirasa, Leader of Tamil Arasu Katchi, T. Siddharthan, Leader of PLOTE,  Selvam Adaikkalanathan, Leader of TELO,  Parliamentarians Vino Nokarathalingam, MA Sumanthiran, S. Sritharan, R. Chanakkiyan, T. Kalaiyarasan, Charles Nirmalanathan, CVK Sivagnanam, Former Northern Provincial Council House Leader, Former MPs Ariyanethiran, E Saravanavan,  Tamil National People’s Front Parliamentarians Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam, Selvarasa Kajendran, C.V Wigneswaran, MP and Leader of the Tamil Makkal Thesiya Koottanii and P. Iyngkranesan, Leader of the Tamil National Green Movement were among those present

The rally entered Jaffna through Kodikamam, Chavakachcheri and Kaithadi. Relatives of the missing welcomed the rally in Chemmani and a large number of them  joined the rally from there.

As the rally reached every destination there were thousands of people welcoming the rally and joining it.
