Three Schools Vavuniya proposed to be made National Schools

In a context where the Government is undertaking action to create 1000 National Schools, 3 Schools from Vavuniya have been proposed to be absorbed into National School scheme.

One school each from Tamil , Muslim and Sinhala schools of Vavuniya has been proposed for the above scheme.

Thus, Cheddykulam Maha Vidyalaya, Al-Hamia MuslimVidyalayam and Parakum Maha Vidyalaya had been proposed to be absorbed into National School Scheme.

Meanwhile,Rambaikulam Girls Vidyalaya,Tamil Central Maha Vidyalaya,Muslim Maha Vidyalaya, Madukanthai National School and Gamini Maha Vidyalaya in Vavuniya South Educational Zone had been  already upgraded into National Schools.
