Let us take our struggle for missing persons into the streets, calls Pasupathypillai,  MPc

Our political leadership also should get into the streets for struggle for people who were made to disappear after being handed over to the Army, after being arrested and after being abducted, said S.Pasupathypillai, MPc.

He pointed this out at the media conference held at the Kilinochchi Media and Cultural Organization.

Elaborating further he said that the government should give a proper answer to the struggle undertaken by the relatives of the missing persons and our leadership also should get into the streets along with the people for this struggle.

The Graduates’ struggle is being continuously undertaken in the North and in the East. They are engaging in their struggle for a long time now with much courage. Action should be taken to collect the details of vacancies in the Provincial councils and sent to the respective Governors.

However, he also pointed out that several graduates had not taken up the appointment granted to them. He suggested that new appointment be given in place of them to others. He also insisted that notification in the gazette saying those who are already employed should not be considered for employment should be reviewed.
